Do I need to install anything?
No. Performance Desk runs in the browser, and on a phone it installs to the home screen with its own icon and opens full screen — so it behaves like any other app without going near an app store.
Does it handle GST properly?
Yes. You tell it whether you're GST registered during setup, and invoices are produced as compliant Australian tax invoices with GST calculated and shown correctly. Revenue and GST reporting is broken down by period for your BAS.
Can customers book without calling me?
That's the point of it. You get a public booking page showing only the services you offer and the hours you're actually open. They pick a slot, it lands in your diary, and a confirmation goes out automatically.
What happens to my data if I stop paying?
It stays yours. There's no lock-in contract, you can cancel whenever you like, and your business data can be exported. Nothing gets held hostage.
